So here I was during last week, Mandy’s house. Mandy, the mother to-be, will deliver by mid of March! This shooting was with the daddy-to-be too! A fun and great session for all of us with the Astro production company.

The Lubitel+ is a twin lens reflex camera. A viewing lens on top looks at your subject and a taking lens on the bottom shoots them. The viewing lens feeds an image to your eye via the top-down viewfinder, a smooth and sizable piece of glass which you can peer into at waist level and easily compose your image. Controls are fully manual – and two built-in exposure guides tell you the appropriate shutter & aperture setting for any light situation. Choose your own technique for each shot: shallow or long depth of field, slow shutter speeds for blurry subjects or fast ones to freeze action.

It was a music feast with the combination of traditional music, cartoon music and collective creation.

22 August 2009, that was a memorable day for me. I participated in Funtasia 2’s event shooting at SJK(C) Chee Wen, USJ, with a group of young passionate musicians, it was full of fun and joy.

Performers presented their collective creation with their comedy funny body language. There also a narrator led the audiences into a magical music space.

Previous classes, Jo Lynn went through the basic theory of photography with students. I understand that is a hard job for them due to visual limitation. Theory on photography, composition, ISO, aperture, shutter speed…. All these, do not apply for the students. We all tried our best to guide them. Let them touched on the gears, let them felt it.

Few weeks ago, we had a practical class for them. An outing! Glad that we had new volunteers and we could guide the students on one-to-one basic. Hope it could make them to learn more.

I know, blind people as a photographer, it may sound weird. But from this project, I have new point of view for blind photography. They are amazing! With unexpected photos, where ordinary people might neglect.

It is about 10km away from the Ampang town. Be careful if you drive at night, because it is quite dark.

You can go to Kompleks Pelancongan Menara Tinjau, a lot restaurants there, e.g.: Restaurant Look Out Point Western Food & Local Delights, Gasoline and etc. While eating, you can enjoy the city view too.

Old China Cafe, maintains a semblance of the Chinese community’s old social life which will soon fade into history. A great place to visit.

5 September 2009 was a wonderful night. Big claps to all performers.

Silent Keat, the first guest performer. Without any wordings, but he started to play his music directly.

We had a good moment with his performance. We really enjoyed it.
