The use of cormorants for fishing purposes has been practiced for centuries by the Chinese. These birds deliver their prey uninjured to their master instead of appropriating it to their own use.

Good Riddance Day & Happy New Year

Today is the last day of 2010. I declared it as ‘Good Riddance Day’. Throw away the bad and fill in with the good. Goodbye to the old and hello to the new.

I wrote the bad memories in 2010 in the paper. The paper’s life was ended in the shredder! I shredded the bad memories!

Let’s welcome 2011 with good memories!

Cheers to a New Year and another chance for us to get things right!

Happy New Year!

Gui Lin Tour (Part 1)

Guilin (Chinese: 桂林), the city in China where I visited during mid of September 2010. Guilin is situated in the northeast of the Guangxi region.

I believe there are a lot beautiful pictures of Guilin sceneries you able to get from the website. I’m sorry that I would not show you those. But, I wish to show another side of China, which nearer to their culture and closer to their life.

An old coupon I met in the village. The granny offered me to take a seat in her house when she saw me standing under the hot sun with the hot backpack with camera equipments. But I rejected her as I wished to shoot more photos there. Thanks, granny.

Gui Lin Tour

In the village, I saw another granny. She carried a sleeping child. The child was sleeping peaceful in granny’s arm. Would the child remember granny’s hug when he grow up?

This granny had glossy black hair, which very very very long… She has never cut her hair since she was 18. But from the picture, you can see, how glossy her black hair! The secret is, no shampoo, no conditioner, no treatment needed. All you need is… don’t throw the water you used to wash rice! After wash the rice, leave it there for 3 days, then used it to wash your hair! Then you can get the glossy black hair like this 65 years old granny!

Baby Shower Party

It have been sometimes I did not update my blog. I wanted to say, life is busy for me now, but I love it because it fill pictures, interests and loves from parents and friends.

I attended a baby shower (full moon) party yesterday. Such a magical moment when I met the baby. This was baby shower party for my latest maternity shoot! Time flies and little baby is 1 month old now!

Baby

Someone told me, the baby seemed like playing kung fu there. She had sweet dream there, I guess.

Sweet Dreams my darling, the day is done.
The moon is here to say goodnight to the sun.

Gather your blankets and climb into bed.
Close your eyes and lay down your head.

Rest for now with peaceful dreams,
Of twinkling stars and shining moon beams.

Sweet dreams my darling, sweet dreams my love,
Sweet dreams my precious gift from above.
