Citizens of IceCream (雪糕公民), from Kuala Lumpur.

If all that you wish to achieve, all that you desire, all that you wish would happen, transform as a whole to an ice-cream. And as you think you could take just one bite of it, it melts. And so you wish, hope and dream endlessly, until all your frustrations and hopes give presence to another fictional, beautiful, sweet ice-cream-like dream…

Let frustration be your drive, let the “ice-cream” be all that you hope for, even if you “know” it’s impossible, “believe” is the reason you dwell, the excuse for your devotion.

Hopes and desires make them “Citizens of Ice-Cream”.

As you might imagine, any artist that goes by the name Silent Keat probably isn’t going to release very wordy music. And you might also imagine, that artist probably isn’t going to engage in very chatty conversations either.

Silent Keat (real name Tan Boon Chek), from Kuala Lumpur, isn’t too fussed about defying your imagination. The 29 year old Malaysian electronica musician is truly a man of a few sentences, rarely offering more than short, abstract insights into his thoughts, plans and musical worldviews.
